Evaluation

As a whole, I think our single camera production went terribly wrong, but personally I think we could have done much better. At the start of our production, it was obvious that everyone in our group had great interest in sport, so we quickly agreed on our ideas and we came up with a  storyline. As a group I think we worked exceptionally hard and we cooperated quiet well with each other. Our final production came out terribly, but I think we should  have improved on certain things such as the quality of our filming, the music, The use of effects and the right use of camera angles. I think the main issue that we faced in our group was the recording of our single camera production, because we were amateurs at single camera production, I think we underestimated the whole production as we thought we could breeze through the task, so I think this was our main down fall. First of all we should have used a various of effects to ensure our video was smooth, if we had used a various types of effects it would have made our production much more thrilling and entertaining, because the use of effects is very effective in production indeed. For our production I think we could also have used more than one track in our video such as having more energetic music to sync with our energetic sports scenes and then a smooth soundtrack to suit the smooth parts of our video, an energetic soundtrack could have boosted our production to a certain extent because music is fairy vital in production. We also faced problems with the right use of camera angles, because we were not specialist at handling a camera and we were not sure and did not have knowledge of all the best camera angles to use for the production we could not put them in and therefore making our video very unprofessional and boring. I can also recall a time when Miss Kaur had to remind us not to break the 180% rule because our knowledge of shot angles was clearly not there. If we were able to put all these things into our production then I am certain our video would have turned out brilliantly.
